Field Projects is proud to present POROUS MODES, curated by Marine Cornuet.

Tender tendrils and fabric-fingers, rock-faces and moss-feet, dreams of all kinds, ghosts, mirrors, stories of crossings - a relentless richness resides in overlaps and blurred boundaries. Who's afraid of the hybrid? Purity kills! We need to make kin sym-chthonically, sym-poetically, says Donna Haraway. Through their porous modes, vulnerability and hybrid explorations, the works in this exhibition offer an antidote to rigid categories. In an era of isolation, they provide poetic relief by gently puncturing borders, actively creating kinship.

The work in this exhibition was selected from our Fall Open Call submissions.
